LEARN MORE ABOUT INFINITY SLOPES

FAQs

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Infinity Slopes is a state-of-the-art indoor skiing and snowboarding facility that offers year-round experiences on revolving indoor slopes. It caters to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced skiers and snowboarders, providing a controlled and enjoyable environment for learning and practicing these sports

  • Infinity Slopes is located at 1301 South Roosevelt Ave., Loveland, CO 80537, just southwest of Downtown

  • The hours of operation at Infinity Slopes vary by season. For the most current and detailed information on their operating hours, please check our website or contact them directly.

  • You should arrive 20-30 minutes before your lesson or session. This allows enough time to get acquainted with the facility and gear up

  • Skiing is often easier for beginners. It's more natural to stand and move on skis, and you're less likely to fall compared to snowboarding. Snowboarding requires more persistence at first, as balancing on one board can lead to more falls. But don't worry, at Infinity Slopes, we provide safe and supportive training for both skiing and snowboarding!

  • At Infinity Slopes, we recommend starting ski lessons at the age of 3 in a private lesson format, though 4 years old is often a better starting age. This is because the machines require a certain level of leg and core strength to maneuver effectively, and they can be intimidating for younger children. For snowboarding, we suggest starting private lessons at a minimum age of 6. Snowboarding on our slopes can be more challenging than on real snow, and younger children might struggle if they are not ready for the sport. Our training is tailored to ensure a safe and enjoyable learning experience for each age group.

  • Wear long sleeves, long pants, and tall socks for comfort and protection. The facility is climate-controlled, so short sleeves are generally comfortable. Avoid denim, jewelry, and watches. The slopes are misted, so your clothing may get wet

  • At Infinity Slopes, we provide ALL the necessary equipment for your skiing and snowboarding experience. This includes skis, snowboards, boots, and helmets. You are welcome to bring your own boots and helmet if you prefer, but please note that you must use our skis and snowboards. They have been specifically prepared for use on our unique slope surfaces to ensure the best experience and safety

  • The slopes at Infinity Slopes are equipped with a material called Pro-Snow®. This innovative surface is soft and grass-like, specifically engineered for skiing and snowboarding indoors. Pro-Snow® is designed to simulate real snow conditions, providing a unique and effective platform for learning and practicing these winter sports

  • While Pro-Snow® aims to closely mimic the sensation of real snow, it does have its differences. The facility uses a machine mister to keep the Pro-Snow® surface moist, enhancing the simulation of snow-covered slopes. However, users will notice variations in texture and response compared to natural snow. This creates a distinctive skiing and snowboarding experience, different from traditional snow slopes

LESSONS & SESSIONS

  • Each session or lesson at Infinity Slopes is 30 minutes in duration. While this might seem brief, it's highly effective as it equates to covering the vertical feet of a half-day or more on traditional slopes. This condensed time frame offers a concentrated and robust workout, ensuring you get a significant amount of exercise and skill practice.

  • A lesson involves instruction from a qualified instructor, ideal for beginners or those looking to improve their skills. It provides guided training and personalized feedback.

An open session, is more suited for experienced skiers or snowboarders. It's a self-guided experience where you can practice your skills at your own pace without direct instruction.

An employee will always operate the slopes speed and incline for safety purposes.

  • Yes, both children and first-time adults are encouraged to take lessons at Infinity Slopes. Lessons provide a safe, controlled, and efficient way to learn skiing or snowboarding, with instructors focusing on safety, basics, and confidence-building

  • The number of lessons needed varies depending on the individual and the sport. For skiing, which is generally easier to pick up, you might need about 3-6 lessons. Snowboarding, being more challenging initially, could require 6-12 lessons. Children often need lessons on the upper end of these ranges. Remember, everyone learns at their own pace, so these numbers can vary based on personal progress and comfort level

  • Falls are a natural part of learning to ski or snowboard. At Infinity Slopes, safety is a priority. The instructors are trained to minimize the impact of falls and will stop the slope using a remote control to ensure your safety. The surface is softer than snow and ice, which helps in reducing the impact. Additionally, knee pads or ski bibs can be worn, especially for beginning snowboarders.

  • You must notify Infinity Slopes at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or change your lesson. If you don’t and fail to show up, you will be required to pay the full cost of the lesson. Exceptions may be made for emergencies. If you are late, your lesson will be shortened to fit the allotted time frame.
